Behind the Counter
Exit Nine took its first visitors in November 2026, and not one of the sixteen women is anything but an AI character. The idea: say your exit number and get a straight answer.
What we made
We invented 16 adult women who work real jobs along the Turnpike, the Parkway and the shore, gave each of them a town, a temper and a way of insulting people fondly, and taught them to answer at length. You choose an exit, she answers, and she remembers what you said.
About the name
The address is a joke made of letters and a word that does not describe the site. Nothing is sold here, no shop exists behind the name, and no goods will ever arrive at your door. What you get is a conversation with fictional women. The brand is our own, and we are not related to any site with a similar address.
What we will not do
- Present a woman as a real person, or point at a real business, or use a real person's name.
- Promise a visit to anyone: the women exist as words and portraits.
- Aim the teasing at anybody's family background or accent.
- Sell what you write, or pass it to an advertiser.
Writing to the booth
Whatever you send to the footer address lands on a desk where a human reads it. Corrections, complaints and a decent roast of your exit are all welcome.
